It involves the use of a special machine, called a Gleason machine, which produces a combination of gear rolling and cutting actions to produce the gear tooth profile. b. Klingelnberg method: The Klingelnberg method is another commonly used cutting method for spiral bevel gears. It utilizes a Klingelberger machine, which uses generative motion to create gear tooth profiles. This method is known for its accuracy and flexibility in producing high-quality gears.
